I have had some great news about two of the women who have taken part in previous Beyond The Boys Club Boot Camps – they have both found new and better jobs. I am so pleased to report that they have both moved from long term roles where they felt increasingly taken for granted, to new and exciting positions. So often candidates feel that they have no power in the process, but you should ‘interview’ your potential boss, colleagues and if possible past employees as well as this will help you to get a feel for the culture of the company. This is so vital, as too often we worry so much about the impression we are making that we don’t really think about whether this is a team we want to join.
