What’s On Your Summer Reading List That Will Help Your Career?

Beyond The Boys Club Book I’m not taking a long summer break this year, but I will be using my down time to catch up on a few reads from my ‘good intentions’ list of books. To stay current I am looking forward to:
Women, Work and the Art of Savoir Faire by Mireille Guiliano – a book for women in business with all kinds of hints and tips on leadership, etiquette and even recipes and Confessions of a City Girl – a tale written initially anonymously by a woman working in finance, and from the blurb on Amazon very much a book for women in the testosterone fueled City.
For a bit of fun I have also been recommended by fabulous women I respect:
Out by Natsuo Kirino, a novel noir about four women in Tokyo bound together in a web of conspiracy and Remarkable Creatures by Tracy Chevalier a book about female friendship and fossils and which according to the Sunday Telegraph is ‘an enthralling novel
These should keep me busy over what I hope will be a warm summer in Scotland.
If you are looking for any inspirational reads I have been told ‘Beyond The Boys Club’ is as good poolside as it is on the tube!
